This discussion will focus on the application process - from first contact to hearing —breaking down required timelines, the procedures Regional Centers are obligated to follow, and sharing practical tips, common pitfalls, and strategies to help you come prepared, communicate clearly, and be heard throughout the process. Within this discussion we will also talk about how FASD fits (or doesn’t) within the defined categories of developmental disability, and the key factors that influence eligibility decisions. There will be time for question and answers.
